AXEM Technology, a progressive manufacturer of RFID tags and labels offers Protect+ for protecting labels in industrial environments. This is a flexible protective film with an extremely reinforced adhesive layer. It was developed for aerospace but is now available for industrial applications.
Protect+ is suitable for outdoor use and resistant to high-pressure steam cleaners, UV radiation, chemicals, oil and gases: at most, a slight discoloration of the plastic will occur, but the function will be retained.
As standard, Protect+ is available in the dimensions 30x15mm, 55x15mm, 70x30mm and 95x22mm, these dimensions are based on Axem's standard Platinum RFID labels, however, customer-specific dimensions are also possible.
Applications include identifying tools, boats and vehicles, for tagging traffic signs, street lights and mobile deposits.
