The AX'UP scanner was developed by AXEM Technology to scan 1D/2D barcodes and UHF RFID tags with a single device. This makes a migration from barcode to RFID easy to perform without having to use double hardware. Because the barcode scanner and the self-developed UHF antenna are located on the front of the housing, the scanner is very user-friendly. With two buttons the desired scanning action can be selected. Depending on the RFID tag, the scanner has a reading distance of up to approx. 2 meters.
The AX'UP was developed with durability as one of the starting points. AXEM guarantees that spare parts will be available for at least another 15 years, and the various internal modules such as the charging circuitry are designed as interchangeable piggy-bags and therefore repairable.The scanner is available with a straight, curled cable or wireless Bluetooth and is IP54.
