Celduc has a newly developed solid state relay, which reduces the high inrush peaks in primary switching of transformers and thus can control them sustainably. Switching on a saturable inductive load often generates high current spikes. These age the semiconductors used in SSRs and blow any fuse used. When transformers are turned on, current and voltage run out of phase; at the highest point of the sine wave, the current is close to zero. This peak start relay turns on just then, ensures that the transformer inrush current is very limited and also eliminates the problems associated with inrush current spikes. The new SOP relays are specially designed for starting primary circuits of transformers and prevent magnetization in saturated coil windings.Features:
- one phase switching voltage 100-480Vac
- current 9A SOP65070 / 32A SOP69070
- control voltage 5.5-32Vdc
- in accordance with IEC / EN60947-4-3
In addition to these top-switching solid state relays, Celduc also has zero-cross and direct switch-on relays for AC loads and the largest selection in DC solid state relays.
