Whereas many batteries drop sharply in capacity in freezing temperatures, the GS4040FL and GS4040IL retain up to 80% of their capacity even at -40 °C. Although the maximum peak current and SoC measurement are slightly less accurate in these conditions, the packs remain operational and reliable.
