To extend the life cycle of luminaires or encourage reuse, Fulham has introduced the VMU series of LED engines. This series allows you to easily replace the faulty light source in an existing linear fixture with an LED strip module, without the need for additional cooling. But new luminaires can also be equipped with these efficient and durable LED engines ex-factory.
This supports a sustainable design and complies with the principles of the circular economy.
Fulham's VMU series of LED strips are particularly flat and efficient LED strips with an extruded aluminum profile as a base. This provides excellent thermal management, eliminating the need for additional cooling measures.
The series is available in six different length variations, ranging from 14 cm to 147 cm.
The SMD LEDs used have a particularly high efficiency, even exceeding 200 lumens per watt. The standard light output for a 14cm LED strip at 4000K with a CRI of 80 is over 1500 lumens. The longest variant of 147cm even delivers 14,699 lumens at 1400mA.
The lifetime at a temperature of 105°C is L70% > 60,000 hours and L90% = 40,000 hours.
This 3 SDCM (Standard Deviation Color Matching) module is available in a variety of color temperatures, and custom customer-specific versions are possible for certain quantities.
An optional diffused lens is available for easy attachment. The included cover caps for both sides complete the package.
VMU series LED strips find application in linear lighting, but are also used in industrial machinery, in barrier lighting and for vision applications.
