Predictive maintanance functions in braking energy modules

The DC Link buffer modules Pxt, provide active power management for servo and AC drives. These now have a new function: storage capacity monitoring during operation.
This parameterizable function provides permanent capacity monitoring of capacitor bank. An alert is issued when a predefined minimum capacity value is reached. This is done either via an LED display on the device, via a digital output or notification via fieldbus. This ensures that the usable energy quantity of the Koch Pxt units is always sufficient for the intended application during the operating life or early warning of predictive maintance.More available power, a more stable energy network, safer faster machine operation, at the same time a longer service life and subsequently an even lower energy consumption of the electrical drive technology are the core features that make the active energy management modules Pxt from Koch.
The product family is also approved according to UL and CSA standards, this is simplified access for worldwide use.
