The MB7051 XL-MaxSonar-WRML ultrasonic sensor provides reliable long-range detection of up to 10 meters from soft and absorbent materials.
The MB7051 is the most sensitive 42kHz ultrasonic sensor and has a narrow sensor beam of about 10°. The sensitivity is increased by an additional applied horn. This makes it ideally suited in environments with acoustic and electrical noise, for measuring soft materials and level measurement in waste containers and silos.
