Panasonic's new Amorton AMG series amorphous silicon solar cell have a near-perfect black-reflective surface and 20% higher efficiency than the previous series.
These innovations have been made possible thanks to an optimized manufacturing process, in which the active surface has been significantly increased compared to the previous generation but also the light sensitivity has been increased. This has resulted in a 20% efficiency improvement, making the new AMG series among the most efficient indoor amorphous solar cells on the market.
There are two standard models :
AMG-1401C of 41.4 x 26.1 x 1.1mm of 2.7Voc and 74.3μW mmp power at 200lx
AMG-1701C of 48.3 x 26.1 x 1.1mm of 4.7Voc and 83.6μW mmp power at 200lx
