Amphenol LTW presents a new metal M12 variant suitable for field mounting, equipped with crimp contacts. Most waterproof connectors with solder or screw contacts are less practical for field mounting. The crimp contacts used by Amphenol LTW do not require special, expensive crimping pliers and
can be easily mounted at the conductor ends.
The metal housing ensures 360° shielding, in addition to IP67 waterproof. The M12 industry standard is widely used in:
- industrial automation
- automotive
- audio/video
- Ethernet (not Gigabit)
- sensor technology
The new MSDS series comes in multiple pole numbers as type codes A-, B-, D-, I-, T- and X.
