The Blueline efficient Lithium battery chargers have been expanded to include a series for Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. The 3540 LiFe is IP44 water/dust proof, delivers nearly 300W of charging power and is available in several versions to charge the most common series-connected LFP cells:
- 4 cells (12.8Vdc) 20A
- 7 cells (22.4Vdc) 10A
- 8 cells (25.6V) 10A
- 9 cells (28.8Vdc) 9A
- 16 cells (51.2Vdc) 5A
This 3-stage charger with current sensing is fully electrically protected against short circuits or polarity reversal and features an integrated safety timer.
There are charging programs to safely reactivate somewhat deeply discharged batteries.
Optionally, an NTC in the battery can be read, to stop charging at too high and too low temperatures.
The 3540 LiFe is UL approved and medically certified for both home care and hospital equipment.
