P-Duke has expanded its 8 SIP DC/DC converter series with a new model that has an output power of 10W. Because the RDL10 converter is EN50155 certified, it is ideally suited for use in trains, as well as, of course, other demanding environments.
There are three input variants 9-36Vdc; 18-75Vdc and 40-160Vdc each with different single output voltages: 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc, 12Vdc, 15Vdc and 24vdc and even some with dual output voltages: +/- 5Vdc, +/- 12Vdc and +/- 15Vdc.
The version with the input voltage range up to 160Vdc is particularly suitable for battery-fed systems, where the voltage drops as the battery continues to discharge.
Robustness and reliability are shown by the potted metal housing and high allowable operating temperature up to 85°C.
