With the M5, Amphenol LTW has developed the smallest and lightest connectors in the M Series. The connector with only 5mm diameter, targets applications where reliable signal and data transmission is required, but where space is also limited or where miniaturization is desired.
These threaded connectors are certified to IEC 61076-2-105 and available as:
- socket
- connector fitted with cable, straight or angled
- pin number 3 and 4; UHD variants to follow
- protection IP67-IP69
- voltage 60V (AC/DC)
- current 1A (DC)
Typical applications include connecting sensor systems in industrial automation, interfacing in vehicles, electrical interconnects in medical devices, etc.
