Universal and internationally applicable 24Vdc power supplies must withstand challenging environmental conditions in terms of temperature range, shock and vibration, mains fluctuations and high-energy overvoltage pulses. For this purpose, Block has developed the Power Compact Champ (PCC) series of DC power supplies, with the core functionality of a power supply as its focus: to provide reliable power with a long service life.
The PCC comes in four versions 5A, 10A,20A and 40A. All have 150% power boost for 5 seconds and 110% permanent power reserve. This eliminates the need to oversize the power supply and maintains enough power to shut down MCBs in the event of a short circuit.
The PCC 24Vdc power supply meets the latest EMC requirements and has an efficiency of up to 94.3%.
The metal housing in a compact design houses much more functionality, including a wide input range of 85-264Vac and 90-374Vdc.
The operating temperature is -25°C to +70°C and even -40°C to an altitude of 5000m.
The degree of protection is typically double the standard value: 4kV and surge category III.
