In addition to solenoids and electromagnets, Tremba also develops and produces permanent magnets that can be electrically neutralized and thereby 'release'. These hybrid magnets are momentarily neutralized by a short-lived voltage pulse so that there is no holding power. Because the control pulse can be short, it is a highly efficient application to apply a force continuously. Currently there are 4 standard types with 30N, 130N,340N and 10KN holding force.

For optimal operation, opposing anchor plates are available for each type. Tremba also offers special electronics modules for optimizing the control pulse, for very small power and smallest remanent magnetism.
