The M-2900 series OEM RFID readers enables easy integration of RFID technology into a multitude of applications.
The M-2900 is a high-performance 8-channel OEM reader. This module, developed with INDY R2000 chip, which features a powerful anti-collision algorithm for improved tag response time.
Depending on the application, the M-2900 can be set to either buffer mode or real-time mode.
In buffer mode, the detected tag is added and stored in a buffer. This allows an inventory to be carried out in an efficient manner.
In real-time mode, the detected tag is transmitted in real time, providing the user with immediate access to the tag data.
The M-2900 OEM is equipped with a heat sink like housing that ensures effective heat dissipation. This provides fast processing and also extends the life of the module.
In addition to the 8-channel version, a 1- and 4-channel version are also available in this series.
Applications can be very diverse, from opening barriers for tagged vehicles to smart cabinets with selective access to expensive equipment or tools, or dangerous goods. Single-channel versions are used for specific equipment that can only be released by tagged consumables.
An SDK and user guide are available, as well as a development board upon request.
