The EASy Module from EAS consists of a 12S2P battery pack of 40Ah LFP cells. This IP67 water-cooled unit of 38.4V and 3.1kWh can be charged at 240A and discharged continuously at 400A. The dimensions are 290x290x550mm with a weight of about 55kg.
These modules can be easily coupled at will to form mechanically stable battery systems of 922Vdc or even more. The shape can, for example, follow the curve of a ship's wall.
Voltages, currents, cell temperatures and system levels are monitored by a multistage master-slave BMS. The communication interface can optionally be CAN, Modbus, Profibus or and other common protocol.
EAS uses its own cylindrical cells with extremely stable properties which makes the lifetime of the overall system extremely long.
