German EAS Batteries GmbH is a specialist manufacturer of larger stainless steel cylindrical Lithium Ion cells, with an extremely long service life. In doing so, they are particularly robust and resistant to shock and vibration. The current portfolio consists of:
- Lithium Ion NCA 3.6V cells in 7.5Ah and 10Ah
- Lithium Iron Phosphate 3.2V cells of 22Ah, 40Ah and 48Ah.
It is characterized by its patented manufacturing process, in which the connection between internal "jelly roll" and connectors, have extremely low resistance. EAS is the former GAIA which was widely used in aerospace and military applications. These are still target markets for EAS in addition to automotove, mining, rail and marine applications.
