Electrically conductive textile is a pioneering material that more than meets the requirements for RF shielding. The durable, lightweight, corrosion-resistant material is based on nylon rip-stop parachute fabric which is plated with silver, copper and nickel. With this material, Faraday tents are made with shielding up to 95dB. To ensure complete shielding, the tent is sewn with conductive thread and equipped with conductive zippers and conductive Velcro. These tents are used for such applications as:
- shielded communication
- securing sensitive electronics
- pre-compliance EMC testing
Areas of use include: defense, security services, space and aerospace, medical and commercial electronics. Its flexibility and lightweight nature also make the Faraday tent system ideally suited as a reverberation chamber.
