The Panasonic PaPIR family EKMC and EKMB is expanded with a new low-profile version. With a height of less than 11mm, this PIR is ideally suited for installation in shallow enclosures or aesthetic concealment. Despite the small lens diameter of 9mm, the opening angle is 110×110° and a detection distance of up to 5 meters!
Like the previous versions, the Low-Profile PIR is available with a consumption between 170uA to an extremely low 1uA.
Typical applications of this PIR include flat ceiling lights, smart LED lighting, thermostats, cameras and displays.
