Newland has several OEM scan engines to integrate into equipment.The EM1300 and EM2037V4 are commonly used modules, which can easily be used to create your own scanning unit.The EM1300 1D barcode scanner is as wide as a paper clip28.2×23.4×7.7mm and has a TTL interface. The power consumption is between 12 and 160mA making it good for use in handheld devices. The EM2037V4 is an all-round OEM engine. The 1D and2D scanner can scan most barcodes. With dimensions of 39.5×25.4x20mm and power consumption of up to 191mA, this engine is mainly used in setups with a fixed power supply.Both engines have a USB and RS-232 interface. An Evaluation Kit is available for both engines, which can be used to quickly set up a test setup.
