PTR's widely used 1350 series is now also available in an SMD version. The standing (V) and lying (H) versions can therefore be placed without having to keep space at the bottom of the PCB which can simplify PCB design. Both versions are supplied in Tape & Reel with a Pick & Place pad and can of course be soldered with reflow. The horizontal version has a holder on the Pick & Place pad that keeps the connector positioned horizontally during assembly. On these new SMD PCB parts the well-known AK1350 cable parts fit which makes a migration from Trough Hole to SMD Reflow easily possible.
The 1350 series is applicable up to 125VAC/10A and has a breakdown voltage of 2.5 kW. Both SMD versions are available from 2 to 11 poles.
