Solarparts has developed an extremely flexible solar solution based on a fiberglass laminate. This extremely thin solution of only 1mm can be bent up to 120°. Solarparts is one of the few manufacturers laminating solar cells in this new fiberglass technology. Besides being thin and flexible, the panel is also cheaper compared to PET plastic and glass. Solarparts can use both mono- and polycrystalline cells and can produce panels from 1 to 50Wp.With a lifetime of about 5 years outdoors, this technology is comparable to other plastic solar panels.
Applications may include solar chargers, garden lights, etc.
