Celduc's SOD Series solid state relays offer an important step toward smarter industrial automation by combining switching with advanced diagnostics which prevents unplanned downtime and maximizes process efficiency.
These single-phase zerocross SSRs instantly detect multiple critical faults with a response time of less than 100 ms, without the need for external monitoring circuits or an additional power source.
The main monitored statuses are:
- load status: real-time detection of an interruption(load break)
- grid status: signaling power failure or power interruption
- protection status: detection of a defective fuse or mains protection device
- output status: check for both open circuit and internal short circuit in the relay
Error messages are communicated with a potential-free contact and an alarm LED. The SOD series is available for currents from 40A to 150A (depending on load and duty cycle) and is deployable within a voltage range of 50 to 510 VAC.
