Block's ESG inrush current limiters prevent unwanted -tripping- of circuit breakers when electrical devices are switched on. Large inrush currents are caused by the simultaneous switching on of LED drivers, for example.
The new ESG6 recognizes when the device behind the unit is turned off and therefore will again limit power when the unit is turned on. Furthermore, it features a dynamic limiting time and an integrated temperature fuse.
