iDTRONIC has used the knowledge from the outgoing BlueBox series to develop a new line of industrial UHF RFID readers. The RFLINE series consists, as before, of different readers, with integrated antenna connector or with one or more external antenna connectors.
All readers are equipped with a state-off-the-art Impinj RFID chipset which provides a better read rate (number of tags/second) and have an increased RF output power of 30-33dBm compared to 27dBm before. Also for secure applications, the security level has been increased for safe logging and management of authentication or identification data.
The RFLINE housing is IP67 and are equipped with industrial M12 connectors that also make the connections reliable and waterproof. Various connection options such as RS232, TCP/IP (PoE), CAN-Bus with SAEJ1939 protocol but also industry standards such as PROFIBUS and PROFINET can be provided on request. For this new series of UHF RFID readers an SDK has been made available in advance.
