The new 1500V / 400A high power connectors from Degson, which are used in high voltage battery systems, have recently received dual certification from both UL and TÜV.
This series is available as cable part ESP-400A- and as chassis part ESS-400A-. Compared to the major competitor products, Degson connectors are made of much more material, the metal weight share is 13% higher. This is an indication of robustness and durability.
Furthermore, these connectors are IP67 and the plastic parts are long-term resistant to UV radiation without changing mechanical properties, endorsed with a UL 746C f1 rating.
There are multiple cabling options for the chassis terminal, such as bus bar connection, stud, threaded or crimp connection.
The orange versions for positive pole and the black version for negative pole are not interchangeable so that accidental misassembly is not possible.
