In serial assembly of solid state relays in a device or in a configuration with many solid state relays in a control cabinet, assembly speed is an important criterion. Celduc has developed solid state relays with faston connectors that do not require screws. In this case, the wiring can be pre-determined in length, equipped with fastons and easily and quickly mounted.
According to IEC62314, the faston connections can carry 15A for 4.8mm types and 25A for 6.3mm types, depending on their design.
Celduc relays offer single and two-phase versions and even a four-phase solid state relay with faston connection.
The package includes the following relays with fastons:
- SF5 a miniature relay
- EMC optimized SCFL relays for integration into household appliances,
- conventional field hockey puck SCF relays,
- double SOB
- four-point switching SCQ relays.
The use of faston connections is typical for industrial control cabinets for individual control of multiple heat zones or series production of household equipment such as air heaters, hot plates and coffee makers.
