Led Drivers

Efficient programming of LED drivers in production environments

In production and test lines for lighting systems, the configuration of LED drivers often takes up valuable time. Many processes still require manual or sequential NFC programming, which is not only slow, but can also be error-prone with large numbers of modules. As the demand for flexible and error-free manufacturing increases, so does the need for a fast, reproducible and fully contactless solution.

The FEIG LR1002-E HF Long Range NFC reader/writer, combined with the ID ANT310 or ANT800 loop antenna, provides a robust approach for this purpose. This setup allows simultaneous programming of multiple NFC LED drivers, configuring each driver reliably and uniformly, without manual operations or physical contact.

The spacious antenna field of the ANT310 (318 × 338 mm) or the larger ANT800 (852 × 620 mm) allows dozens of drivers to be described simultaneously. The IP65-certified antennas make the solution suitable for industrial environments, where variable distances can affect performance. The combination of large read distance, high stability and easy integration into existing systems makes this system particularly suitable for setups where speed and accuracy are key.

The technology is now a practical choice for lighting manufacturers and installers looking to reduce lead time and improve consistency of settings.
