Poli offers heat sinks that are not only functional and thus cool well, but also have an attractive appearance so that the heat sink can be part of the design of the lamp. These heat sinks, unlike most other heat sinks, are made of aluminum 1050 ( Al99.5 and ENAW 1050) which consists of 99% aluminum. Typical characteristics are: easily deformable, excellent corrosion resistance and very good thermal conductivity. Thermal conductivity is about 30% better than extruded heatsinks while weight is over 50% lower. The heat sinks feature mounting holes with a 35mm (Zhaga) and 25mm grid. By default, these heatsinks are supplied gray anodized, but other colors are also possible. The range runs up to about 60W of cooling power, but Poli also has developments with 200W. For a new design, consider the POLI heatsinks, Poli stands for "Cooling with style".
