Elincom Electronics has been a specialized technical distributor of components for industrial automation and electronics for 50 years. We are an established name in the market and help customers in a variety of industries to find the best solutions.

Your challenge

As Product Manager Power, you are the technical and commercial point of contact within your product group. This means that you are responsible for products such as transformers, power supplies (PSUs) and DC/DC converters. In fact, you are the Benelux representative of the manufacturers of these products. The manufacturers are located worldwide, with the main focus in Western Europe.

You will visit and advise customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, mainly developers and engineers at machine and equipment manufacturers, both industrial electronics and industrial automation.

You work independently, but are also part of a team of 8 product managers, each with their own specialty. You also work closely with the inside sales department. Most of the time you work from home, with regular visits to customers and suppliers.

Some of your duties

Analyze customer inquiries and identify commercial opportunities
Customer visits to discuss projects and provide technical advice
Consulting with international suppliers on project requests
Together with inside sales, preparing and following up on quotes, monitoring margins
Follow up leads from trade shows, websites and email inquiries
Track and share new product developments with marketing communications

The ideal profile

We are looking for someone with technical affinity and commercial talent. An ambitious professional who enjoys working in the field and building relationships.

MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level
Technical background (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics or industrial automation)
Commercial attitude and proactive attitude
Good command of Dutch, working knowledge of English and/or German is a plus
