Block introduces new UPS modules where reliability and predictability are the important factors. This ensures the uptime of 12V, 24V and 48Vdc systems. Depending on the application, there are 2 variants to choose from:
- With integrated supercaps with a buffer period of 41s@1A / 1s@20A. Supercaps can handle exceptionally many charge cycles, this module will therefore be applied in common voltage failures or dips.
- For external lead-acid batteries, the temperature-controlled battery management optimizes the life of lead-acid batteries and provides reliable warnings in case of declining life. The battery version can also start a device without mains power. Both are rated up to 40A and parallel connection of lead-acid batteries or supercap modules is possible. Settings can be adjusted via a rotary switch or via the shock and vibration-resistant USB interface. Block's UPS modules provide total system control which is required in Industry 4.0 installations.
