An emergency unit that includes both a LED driver, a lithium battery for backup power and a battery charger, and which is also no ge ge more compact in size than the same solution with separate modules; that is the HotSpot Plus from Fulham. In addition to the 45W version, there is now also a 70W version. Thanks to this LED driver, every fixture also becomes an emergency lighting fixture. The integrated backup power supply ensures that the light source is still powered in the event of a power failure.
There is no more need for an additional light source used only during emergencies.The HotSpot Plus series is CE and ENEC approved with a compact housing:
- 45W is shorter and wider 229 x 82mm, for mounting above the ceiling
- 70W is long and narrow 424 x 30mm, for integration into a fixture
Fulham integrated a monthly and annual self-test function. As long as everything is fine, the test switch remains green, if there is a problem it turns red. A simple visual inspection is enough to notice this. In addition, the emergency power supply is programmable between 1W (540 minutes burn time) and 6W (90 minutes burn time). The LED drivers are 0-10V dimmable and programmable in 1mA increments with an easy-to-use programming tool; the 45W version from 250-1400mA and the 70W from 350-2400mA. The emergency unit built with Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries comes with a 5-year warranty, including the battery pack.
